A lot of folks do not realise why their parrots can be an angel one moment and a devil the very next minute. It can actually drive a parrot owner nuts since they do not know the root of this problem. Actually, the answer to this is...
You are probably having a bird who is starting to sexually mature.
This is a VERY common behavior for birds attaining sexual maturity.
If you raise a baby bird nicely almost all of them are sweet and cuddly up until the time that they start sexually maturing.
And if you don't teach your parrot some certain skills BEFORE he sexually matures, they'll start to bite you.
One of the BIG reasons for this is because your bird now has more hormones flowing through it's body as nature is preparing it to start breeding.
This means that if you do NOT understand what can trigger what's called "Hormonal Aggression", then you'll keep getting bitten.
For example, touching your parrot on his butt can be a trigger for sexually arousing your parrot. So if you're petting your parrot there you're just asking for 'Hormonal Trouble'.
I'd highly recommend that you get a copy of Chet Womach's Stop Biting course that walks you through on how to avoid this pitfall so many parrot lovers fall into.
